Brenda Kadlecik

Brenda with artwork "Together Again"

Brenda enjoys painting flowers, nature scenes and abstract. Her preferred medium is watercolor and acrylic. Her designer eye responds to structure, form, order and certainly color too. She looks for the lines, shape and color within the surface of her subjects. Brenda then pushes her artwork into an abstracted, but recognizable play of color, texture and depth- a fresh, fun, modern take on the classic genre of different subjects that she enjoys. She plans a little, plays a lot, and lets her instincts lead the way - it is all about the joy of creating!

Brenda is also actively involved with Mooresville Arts, a local nonprofit art gallery in Mooresville, NC. Her volunteer experience has included being a docent, helping with special events and opportunities, being a member of the board and most recently as event and volunteer coordinator.

She was born in New Jersey and raised in Winston Salem, NC. She attended UNC Greensboro where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Architecture and a BS in Human Development and Family Studies. Brenda presently lives in Mooresville, NC.
